Have you ever felt it? Have you witnessed it? The spiritual washing. The divine cleansing of souls that subtly happens during Ramadan. There is a metaphysical showering that softens and scales away the grime. The grime that hides beneath the surface. The grime that is the accumulated residue of wrong-doing and disobedience.
By Allah's compassion and mercy, we are given this opportunity to be spiritually washed. To be forgiven.
A powerful prayer to seek His forgiveness is:

"O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no deity but You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I am committed to Your covenant and Your promise as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favors upon me, and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me, for none forgives sins except You."
